Information regarding the personal data processing policy in accordance with art.13 of European Regulation 679/2016
1. Premise
In accordance with art. 13 of the European Regulation n. 679/2016, the Municipality of Reggio Emilia, as “owner” of the processing, is required to provide information on the use of your personal data.
2. Owner of the processing of personal data

4. Data processors
The Municipality of Reggio Emilia may avail itself of third parties for performance of activities and the related processing of personal data of which it is the Controller, appointing them as Data Processors. In accordance with the provisions of art. 28 of the European Regulation 679/2016 with these subjects the Municipality signs contracts that bind the Data Processor to the Controller all activities related to the processing of personal data.
For the treatment in question, the Municipality of Reggio Emilia has not appointed Data Processors.
5. Subjects authorized to process
Your personal data is processed by personnel of the Municipality of Reggio Emilia previously authorized and designated as data processor, who are given suitable instructions regarding the purposes and methods of data processing on the basis of current data protection legislation.
6. Purpose of the treatment
Your personal data are processed for the performance of institutional functions with an organisational, documentary, informative and promotional nature connected to the Giochi del Tricolore 2023 before, during and after the event itself.
7. Legal basis of the treatment
The processing of your personal data is carried out by the Municipality of Reggio Emilia for the execution of a public interest task or connected to the exercise of public powers. Your personal data is processed by the Municipality of Reggio Emilia exclusively for the purposes that fall within the institutional tasks of the Administration and in order to fulfill any legal, regulatory or contractual obligations.
Consent is required for the treatment in question.
The processing of your personal data takes place on the basis of the Council Resolution n. 53 of 07/03/2023 “Approval of the Giochi del Tricolore 2023 project” (“Approvazione del progetto Giochi del Tricolore 2023”).
8. Recipients of personal data and transfer of personal data to non-EU countries
Your personal data relating to name, surname, date, place of birth, country of residence and photo for the badge are not disclosed and are registered on the google forms platform which privacy policies are consulting at this link – https://policies.google.com/privacy.
Your personal data, in case you authorize the release for the publication, exclusively images and videos, may disseminated through the channels indicated in the consent form this notice is attached to.
Your personal data, exclusively relating to images and videos, are published on the social network profiles of the Municipality of Reggio Emilia, the Giochi del Tricolore and the bodies of the Promoting Committee.
Any video calls/video conferences will be carried out on the most popular platforms.
9. Storage period
Your data is kept for a period not exceeding that necessary for the pursuit of the aforementioned purposes. To this end, also through periodic assessments, the strict pertinence, non-excess and indispensability of the data is constantly verified with respect to the relationship, service or assignment in progress, to be established or terminated, also with reference to the data that you provide on your own initiative. The data which, also following assessments, are found to be excessive or irrelevant or indispensable, are deleted, with the exception of a possible conservation, in accordance with the law, of the deed or document that contains them.
10. Your rights
As an interested party, you have the right:
● access to personal data;
● to obtain the rectification or cancellation of the same or the limitation of the treatment concerning him;
● to oppose the treatment;
● to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority

11. Provision of data
The provision of your data is optional, but necessary for the purposes indicated in point 6. Failure to provide will make it impossible to:
a. participate in the Giochi del Tricolore 2023, in case of non-consent to the “Individidual registration form”;
b. use the images/videos, in case of non-consent to the “Release form for the publication of photos and videos”.
